A lot of people have been asking me questions about me and New Medicine, and I think it is has become a good time to address them. 

I met Jake in early 2008 and threw down drums for a few songs he wrote in Nashville and immediately appreciated his voice and talent. Not long afterwards he Dan Brady and I were showcasing for labels, touring the Middle East, and eventually getting signed as New Meds. The next four years were intense with recording and touring with sweet bands, creating incredible memories and playing for awesome crowds. It was the time of my life, and an experience I would never trade in for another. 

However, as time went on I began to realize that, as an extremely creative individual, I was not fulfilling the creative outlet to the extent I needed. Eventually I began to understand that my calling was less to play drums for New Meds and more to write songs and produce records with other bands, as well as writing and performing on my own.

New Medicine is a tight band with rocking songs, and a killer live show. It was an honor to be a part of establishing and crushing with such a fun band. I am stoked on the new songs and have no doubt that the next record will be awesome. But at this time I am very passionate about writing and producing in the studio with many talented bands (who needs a record?;), and finishing up the Earth Insight and Late Night Fights records. I’ll always support my boys and love them like brothers, and don’t be surprised if we collaborate again soon enough!
